Strategic Partner of MIHA on Capacity Development of Halal Laboratory and Technical Management Program

RQuest Convergent Sdn Bhd (RQC) is proud to announce that our holding company, Global Haltech Sdn Bhd (Global Haltech) is a strategic partner of JAKIM's Malaysia International Halal Academy (MIHA) on capacity development of Halal Laboratory and Technical Management. Malaysia International Halal Academy (MIHA) is an initiative by JAKIM under Malaysia Halal Council. The establishment of MIHA is to provide and facilitate Halal eco-system by developing Halal Technical Capacity Development Program and manifest in strengthening the human capital potential of the Halal industry in keeping pace with today’s industrial and market demand. As a Global Halal Academy Hub, MIHA is set up to design and empower Malaysia Halal landscape and develop Halal Human Capital by sharing Halal Knowledge and Expert.
The cohesive vision of Global Haltech and JAKIM which is aimed to empower and drive the global Halal ecosystem through science and management is further synergized and strengthened through this partnership. RQuest Convergent Sdn Bhd (RQC), as the subsidiary of Global Haltech, is poised to manage and provide training, consultancy and professional development services covering the scope of Halal Science and Management Program along with sister company, Halvec Laboratories Sdn Bhd (Halvec).
RQC, a registered HRDF Training Provider (SBL-KHAS) by Human Resource Development Corporation (HDC) shall work closely together with Halvec, an official JAKIM’s Halal Panel Laboratory and ISO 17025:2005 certified Food and Halal Testing Laboratory under the umbrella of Global Haltech to provide hands-on technical training and consultation services pursuant to establishment of Halal assurance system, Halal analysis, Halal laboratory setup as well as Halal method development and validation.
